In June 2021, we conducted Japan's first demonstration experiment of "Flying Pasta" in a downtown area in front of a station in a designated city.

On the day, products were ordered through a special ordering app, and bookstore and cafe staff in the building loaded the products onto the drone, demonstrating how it would operate in a practical setting.

The drone departed from a special drone port on the roof of a building, crossed the main street in front of the station, and delivered warm Niigata rice flour pasta to Niigata City's Mayor, Nakahara, who was waiting at the drone port on a building about 180 meters away.

Going forward, we aim to resolve any functional issues that may arise when using drone delivery services and provide a practical service within Niigata City.
